Philosophy for Children (P4C) Level 1 training course Two-day course for all Key Stages.

This practical course will enable participants to facilitate philosophical enquiries and develop a Community of Enquiry and Thinking Classroom. Engagement with big philosophical questions helps children and young people to shape their own views and judgements, recognising their roles as Global Citizens. Also available for whole staff training.
Future dates in 2015 – 5 & 13 Feb, 12 & 20 Mar, 24 Apr & 1 May and 25 Jun & 10 Jul.

Learning in a Global Context: Part 1: Inspiring globally-minded teachers
Learning in a Global Context: Part 2: Enabling global-thinking learners
Cost: £160 per day (160 e-credits for GLP Partner Schools)
£300 (300 credits) if Part 2 – ‘Enabling Global-thinking Learners’ – is booked at the same time
Discounts: £100 /e- credits per day for a 2nd participant from same school
£500 /e-credits for 2 participants from one school if booked on both days in advance
